The Starter Box gives you a practical selection to work through gradually, allowing your dog to experience different ingredients and proteins over time.
We recommend keeping things simple when you first start.
Introduce foods gradually, monitor how your dog responds and build more variety as you become comfortable with your feeding routine.
Our mixed raw boxes are based around an 80:10:10 prey-model style approach, using meat, bone and organ components across the selection.
An 80:10:10 ratio can be a useful framework for experienced raw feeders, but a ratio alone doesn’t automatically guarantee that every nutritional requirement is met for every individual dog or life stage.
This is particularly important when feeding growing puppies, which have specific nutritional requirements during development.

There isn’t one feeding amount that suits every dog.
Many healthy adult dogs start somewhere around 2–2.5% of body weight per day, but the right amount will depend on your dog’s age, activity level, body condition, metabolism and the energy content of the food.
Monitor your dog’s body condition and adjust portions as required.

Because the Starter Box contains a seasonal mixed selection, we can’t guarantee a particular protein combination.
If there is a protein your dog needs to avoid, please add a note to your order or contact us before ordering and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
If your dog is following a strict veterinary elimination diet or requires tightly controlled single-protein feeding, we recommend choosing individual products instead.
