Our Story
The Raw Dog Food Co is owned and operated by a local Auckland family.
We have a huge passion for raw feeding derived from the incredible health benefits that we have experienced first hand with our own four footers. Understandably, we wanted to share this with other pet owners on a raw food journey.
Our intention is to grow this small business by helping more pet owners to understand the long term benefits of feeding their four footed family members a raw diet, just as nature intended!
We support both BARF and Prey Model 80:10:10 diets, we also encourage raw and fresh food introduction to a kibble based diet.
We are here to help, whether that is offering assistance to those who wish to start their raw journey, whether that be by mix feeding or converting to a completely raw based diet, our mission is to continue to provide only the best quality along with an efficient service to pet owners nationwide, because we believe that every pet owner should be able to feed a quality diet without restrictions.
The reason we have chosen to ONLY offer Antibiotic & Medicine Free Meat, is that we believe that all pets and their owners should have access to the best quality products for their pets.
Antibiotic and Medicine Free Meat that is reserved generally only for the export market should be available to New Zealand pet owners - and that is why we do what we do!
