Our New Zealand Bee Pollen for Dogs is a simple, nutrient-rich food topper that can be added to raw meals or your dog’s usual food. Bee pollen naturally contains a varied mix of proteins, carbohydrates, fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and plant compounds collected by bees from flowering plants.
Supplied as easy-to-use granules, it’s a convenient way to add a little extra nutritional variety to your dog’s diet without complicated blends or unnecessary fillers.
Bee pollen contains a naturally occurring mixture of nutrients derived from the plants and flowers visited by bees.
Rather than treating it as a miracle ingredient, we like to think of bee pollen as exactly what it is — a simple whole-food topper that can add variety to an already balanced diet.
Simply sprinkle the recommended amount over your dog’s normal meal.
It works particularly well as a topper for raw-fed dogs and can easily be added alongside meat, bone, organ and other components of a balanced raw diet.
Because bee pollen is concentrated, you only need a small amount each day.
We recommend introducing it gradually, particularly if your dog hasn’t eaten bee products before.

When introducing bee pollen for the first time, start slowly.
Begin with approximately 5 granules per day and gradually increase over several days while monitoring how your dog responds.
Dogs up to 10kg:
1 teaspoon (approximately 4g) daily
Dogs 10–20kg:
2 teaspoons (approximately 8g) daily
Dogs over 20kg:
3 teaspoons (approximately 12g) daily
Bee pollen can be sprinkled directly over your dog’s usual food.
Individual requirements can vary, so you don’t necessarily need to feed the maximum suggested amount every day.
Bee pollen is a natural bee product, so we recommend introducing it cautiously.
Start with a very small amount and increase gradually rather than adding a full serving straight away.
If your dog develops unusual itching, swelling, vomiting, diarrhoea or any other signs of a possible reaction, stop feeding it and seek veterinary advice where appropriate.
Dogs with known sensitivities to bee products should only be given bee pollen after discussing it with their veterinarian.
